NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis dropped their quarterfinal match Friday morning to William and Mary, 4-1.
CAA Co-Player of the Year Tobias Fanselow was the only Monarch to grab a victory, as he defeated Anton Andersson 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
The Tribe earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
Jamie Whiteford got W&M on the board with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 over Krzysztof Muzalewski. Ben Guthrie picked up a hard fought 7-6, 6-4 wim over Benjamin Chomette at No. 2 while Ben Hoogland defeated Fahoum Fahoum at No. 5.
The Monarchs finish the season with an overall record of 16-10.
