NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis was dominant in its 7-0 victory Sunday night over Norfolk State.
ODU dominated all three doubles matches, with Albert Ochagavia and Alfredo Rodriguez handled Jonathan Sessom and Brian Bullock 8-0. Tobias Fanselow and Krzysztof Muzelewski were solid in their 8-3 win in No. 1 doubles while Fahoum Fahoum and Benjamin Chomette won No. 2 doubles 8-4.
The Monarchs were just as good in singles play, not going three sets in any matches. Fanselow defeated Arsenio Culver 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles with Chomette topping Ben Marks 6-4, 7-5.
Muzalewski was a winner at No. 3 singles with a 6-0, 6-3 win. Albert Ochagavia won No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-2 over Kent Austin.
Fahoum Fahoum and Alfredo Rodriguez were also straight set winners for ODU.
