CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Krzysztof Muzalewski came back from a loss the on Friday to win three matches at the Virginia Invitational over the weekend.
Muzalewski lost his first match of the tournament to Eric Sock of Nebraska, before reeling off the three-straight victories. Two of his wins were straight set wins and the third was an injury default in the consolation finals.
Fahoum Fahoum also picked up two wins over the weekend. Fahoum dropped his first match of the day, but came back to defeat J. Banks (William & Mary) in three sets. He earned another victory in his final match of the day, a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Maryland's J. Surovic.
Albert Ochagavia joined the win column with a 6-1, 7-6 win over Virginia Tech's J. Pine.
The Monarchs are back in action over the weekend of Sept. 24, when ODU hosts the ODU Scholarship Tennis Tournament in Virginia Beach.
