GREENVILLE, SC. - Old Dominion University senior Geoffrey Harris (Reading, England) shot a final round 70 and finished the 54-holes with a 213, just two shots behindchampion Chris mcKeel of Virginia Tech to tied for second place at the Furman Intercollegiate.He tied Brendon de Jonge of Virginia Tech, Tom Schupp of Charleston Southern andPeter Karmis of Purdue. Harris was six strokes off the lead yesterday.
As a team, ODU finished with a 897 for 11th place in the 22-team field. The Monarchsreturn to action on March 28-29 at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate in Greenville, NC. Harrishas now placed tenth or better in eight straight tournaments and has been fifth or better inthree of his last four.
