Geoff Harris was the 2003 CAA medalist Champion and CAA Golfer of the Year in both 2002 and 2003.He helped lead ODU to the 2003 CAA team championship with his sudden-death put and then won the title in a playoff.
Harris was named 2003 CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year and the Golf Coaches Association''s All-American Scholar in both 2002 and 2003. He was also one of five finalists for the Byron Nelson Award in 2003. Harris ranked second in the region and 26th nationally and his 71.76 stroke average is the lowest in school history.
The three-time team MVP from Reading, England led ODU to 15th place at the 2003 NCAA Regionals and he represented Great Britain in the Palmer Cup and competed in the World University Championships. Harris has his degree in physical education and lives in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England with wife Catherine, and two sons, David and Ewan. Geoff is the head golf professional at Rudding Park Golf Academy in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
