SEATTLE -- Old Dominion University's Sally Barkow (Nashotah,WI.) is is in seventh and Brad Funk (Harbor Bluffs, Fl.) in eighth place after two days of racing in the ICSA Collegiate Sailing Singlehanded National Championships on Lake Washington. The races have been slowed due to light winds.
Barkow has 70 points and trails women's championships leader Alli Sharpe of St. Mary's College who has 50 points, but is only ten points out of third which is currently held by Jan Smith of St. Mary's. There will be six final races for the 16 competitors on Monday.
Brad Funk has 84 points and trails Calvin Gruber of Hobart-William Smith leads the men's championships with 36 points. There will be six final races for the 16 competitors on Monday.
