NEWPORT, RI (November 7) -- Old Dominion University sophomore skipper Brad Funk (Harbor Bluffs, FL) finished in fourth-place overall in the ICYRA VanGuard Singlehanded Championships today. In just three races today, Funk scored two first-place finishes and one second-place finish to advance from his sixth-place overall standing on Saturday.
The Queens College duo of Oscar Johansen and Bernard Lutner finished first and second with 51 and 55 points respectively. Harvard?s Shawn Doyle finished third with 80 points, while Funk was fourth with 82 points and Tufts Kimball Hall was fifth with 95 points.
