Wayne Adams joined the ODU Sports Performance staff in March 2020 as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance after spending the previous two years as the Director of Sports Performance at Catawba College.
Prior to Catawba, Adams was the Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Sacred Heart University for four years and a Graduate Assistant at Morehead State University, where he received his master’s degree in health and human performance.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Adams completed his bachelor’s degree at James Madison University in 2010 studying kinesiology. He is currently certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association where he also serves as an approved mentor.
