Justin Walker

Justin Walker began with the Old Dominion University Monarchs in Summer of 2019 and is the Head Football Athletic Trainer.  He oversees the day-to-day duties of the LR Hill Athletic Training Facility which houses football, lacrosse and field hockey.  

Walker came to ODU after spending seven years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Charlotte.  Prior to that, Justin spent one year with Gardner-Webb working with the Running Bulldog Football Team and being the insurance coordinator. 

A 2007 graduate of Elon , where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training, did two internships after undergrad including a one-year NFL internship with the New York Jets from 2007-2008 and an internship with the Presbyterian, where he worked primarily with the football and softball teams. 
  
Walker earned his Master of Science in sports medicine degree from Georgia State  in 2011 where he was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Inaugural Georgia State Panther football team.  

In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, playing golf, and watching his beloved Philadelphia sports teams.

The Chalfont, Pennsylvania native lives in Norfolk with his wife Jordan-Ashley Walker, their son Henry and their dog Rascal.
