Jay Haeseker joined the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation in September 2017 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Development before being promoted into the Athletic Development Officer role. Jay currently oversees the ODAF's premium seating inventory in addition to fundraising efforts for both Men's and Women's Golf and Lacrosse programs.
Before his time with the ODAF, Jay spent one and a half years with the Old Dominion Football team as the Assistant Director of Recruiting. Prior to coming to ODU in 2016, Jay held football recruiting positions at Wake Forest University, the University of South Carolina and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Jay received his Bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and completed his Master’s in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2014.
Jay and his wife, Jerri Waller, MD, currently reside in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, VA.
