Clark Cummings joined the Old Dominion women's staff in January of 2021 and finished his second year in 2022-23.
From 2016-20, Cummings was a member of the tennis team at Hampden Sydney College in Farmville, Va., where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, while obtaining a minor in creative writing and rhetoric. He was a team captain from 2017-20 and was named to the All-ODAC First Team in 2017-19.
For the past nine years, Cummings has served as the Assistant Tennis Professional at Cape Henry Racquet Club in Virginia Beach. He has also worked as the Assistant Tennis Pro at Meadow Club of Southampton since 2017. Cummings graduated from Norfolk Academy in 2016.
"It has all come full circle," explained Cummings. "I was born into this program and grew up on the campus of Old Dominion University. Ever since I was a little kid, I had aspirations of being a part of Old Dominion tennis and I look forward to representing Old Dominion University. At the end of the day, I want to help this program achieve the goals we have put in place - Go Monarchs!"
