2012: Played in 10 games on defense, starting in seven before getting injured at No. 9 Virginia (3/28) with a broken wrist... Picked up six ground balls and won three ground controls... Caused five turnovers on the season as well.
2011: Started all 15 games... Corralled 15 groundballs and caused six turnovers this season.
2010: Played in 14 games, starting in two at midfield...Recorded 16 groundballs and caused seven turnovers... Made the Dean's List.
Prior To Old Dominion: Three-sport athlete at Archbishop Carroll High School... Played lacrosse four years, participated in indoor track for three years and ran cross country two years... Named Second Team All-Catholic League... Member of the Archbishop Carroll High School Philadelphia Catholic League Championship Team... Academic All-American.
Personal: Born October 4, 1990... Daughter of Micki and Tom Burns... Has one brother TJ and three sisters Maurita, Collen, and Alexandra... Sister Alexandra is also on the ODU lacrosse team... Leisure activities include going to the beach... Dreams of visiting Fiji... Majoring in recreation tourism studies.
