2013: Started in 15 games... Scooped up 25 ground balls and won six draw controls... Also caused nine turnovers throughout the season and added first career assist vs. Hofstra (4/5).
2012: Played in 10 games on defense, starting in seven before getting injured at No. 9 Virginia (3/28) with a broken wrist... Picked up six ground balls and won three ground controls... Caused five turnovers on the season as well.
2011: Started all 15 games... Corralled 15 groundballs and caused six turnovers this season.
2010: Played in 14 games, starting in two at midfield...Recorded 16 groundballs and caused seven turnovers... Made the Dean's List.
Prior To Old Dominion: Three-sport athlete at Archbishop Carroll High School... Played lacrosse four years, participated in indoor track for three years and ran cross country two years... Named Second Team All-Catholic League... Member of the Archbishop Carroll High School Philadelphia Catholic League Championship Team... Academic All-American.
Personal: Born October 4, 1990... Daughter of Micki and Tom Burns... Has one brother TJ and three sisters Maurita, Collen, and Alexandra... Sister Alexandra is also on the ODU lacrosse team...
