Gallant is joining Old Dominion from Northeastern where she worked as the Huskies’ director of basketball operations from 2023-26. She earned her Masters in sports leadership from Northeastern and her undergraduate degree from Gordon College. As a graduate assistant in 2023/24 she spent her first season with the Huskies as a graduate assistant coach and moved into director of basketball operations by the end of the season.
She started her collegiate coaching career at Emerson where she was the team’s assistant coach and recruiting coordinator from 2021-23. She helped the team achieve the highest team GPA in NCAA DIII women’s basketball for two consecutive years and oversaw recruiting communications, evaluations, and campus visits. She has experience managing NIL initiatives and partnerships by coordinating opportunities for student-athletes within NCAA compliance laws. Gallant led alumni relations and event execution and facilitated a record-setting Alumni Day at Northeastern.
With the Huskies she operated as the right-hand to the head coach by integrating systems and workflows that prioritize efficiency. She also coordinated recruiting logistics, contributed to game preparation strategies, and was a part of a staff that secured a win over Power Four Boston College.
