Sarah Morton joined Coach Fred Chao's staff as an assistant coach in June 2026 and is entering her first season with the Monarchs.
A defensive specialist/libero from Munster, Indiana, Morton spent her first two seasons at Auburn (2022-2023) before transferring to Colorado (2024-25). For her career, she recorded 1,456 digs, 379 assists, served 83 aces, and accumulated 89.0 points through 114 matches and 440 sets played. She had a career-high 26 digs against Georgia as a freshman at Auburn in 2022 and matched that effort with a 26-dig performance at North Texas as a junior at Colorado. Other career accolades include being named SEC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26, 2022 and earned Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2023.
Morton graduated from Colorado with a bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising, and applied communication and is working on a master's degree in sport management at ODU.
