Ryan Ludvik enters his second season with Old Dominion Volleyball in 2026, serving as the team's mental performance coach.
A Norfolk, Virginia native, Ludvik was a setter who played at Division III Cairn University from 2016-19. Through 101 matches and 333 sets played over his four years with the Highlanders, his career totals included 1,090 assists, 268 kills, 83 service aces, 879 digs, and 85 blocks.
He graduated from Cairn with a bachelor's degree in social work and completed his master's degree in social work from Monmouth University in 2020. He is currently working on a graduate certificate in sport and performance psychology through the University of Western States.
After finishing undergrad, he played semi-professionally in tournaments across the United States. He also spent time as the head coach of the Monmouth women's club team in 2020, as an assistant coach with Ocean Volleyball Club's 14U Girls Team in Toms River, New Jersey in 2020, and was the head coach of the varsity girls team at his alma mater, Norfolk Christian, for two seasons from 2023-24.
