Prep: Went to the National Sport School and trained at the Canada’s National Excellence program in Richmond, British Columbia ... She also played for the Canuck Stuff Volleyball Club growing up and helped her team win four provincial championships ... Gent competed in the U17 NORCECA Continental Championship, the U17 World Championships, the U19 Pan-American Cup, and the U19 World Championships. She also helped Canada capture its first-ever medal at the Pan-American Cup in July 2026 as the team took silver after falling to the United States in the championship final.
Personal: Daughter of Toby and Graham Gent ... Has an older sister, Keira ... Her mother played volleyball at the University of Manitoba as both a middle blocker and libero. Her dadplayed volleyball at the University of Calgary as an outside hitter and libero, and her older sister is currently playing volleyball at Thompson Rivers University as an outside hitter ... Majoring in exercise science ... In her downtime, she enjoys wake surfing and spending summers with her family.
