2010-11:: The 2008 Olympian from Iceland, Haraldsdottir's second place finish in the 100 breast at the CAA Championships gave her the nation's 23rd fastest time at 1:000.46. She became ODU's first Lady Monarch swimmer since Nancy Horvatic in 1983 to compete in the NCAA Championships. Haraldsdottir placed 29th at the Nationals in the 100 breast. 2009-10: Picked up all-conference honors in the 100 and 200 breast, 200 individual medley, and as a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay squads at the CAA Championships...Haraldsdottir's individual events saw the Lady Monarch claim three NCAA "B" cut times and three ODU records...In the 200 IM, she set a new ODU record taking third place and capturing a NCAA "B" cut time by hitting the wall in 2:01.30...Claimed second place in the 100 breast swimming to a "B" cut time and ODU record of 1:01.32...In the 200 breast, earned her third NCAA "B" cut time of the championships with her time of 2:13.46 and posted another ODU record...
2008-09: Earned five All-CAA honors in her first season...Named All-CAA in the 100 and 200 breast, the 200 individual medley, and as a member of both the 200 and 400 medley relay teams....Finished second in the both the 200 IM (2:02.17) and 200 breast (2:14.72) at the conference championships...both times were new Old Dominion record times...Her 200 breast finish at the CAA's was an NCAA "B" cut time...Also took third in the 100 breast (1:02.67), resetting yet another Lady Monarch benchmark...Over the summer broke the Icelandic 50 meter short course breaststroke at the Metatilaraun held in Vatnaveroeld, Iceland...Won three silver medals at the 2009 Small Nations Games...Finished second in the 100 breast (1:12.88), 200 IM (2:22.84), and 200 breast (2:36.16)...
