The home of the Old Dominion swim team is housed in the Student Recreation Center in the middle of campus. It is located in between the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center and the Broderick Dining Commons. The pool is located on the side of the rec center with easy access to dorms and Powhatan Avenue.

In the last few years, the “Scrap” Chandler Pool has seen many changes. The tile on the bottom of the pool was completely redone along with the lighting, sound system and scoreboard. Sound boards were put along the wall for noise reduction and new lights were added. The locker rooms were completely remodeled and team rooms were built, allowing the Monarchs to hold team meetings at poolside.
