Career:

2008-09: Qualified for the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship for the first time in his career after winning the Laser South #1 and finishing fourth in a comeback effort at the MAISA Championship regatta...At the National Championship, Rogachenko led the fleet all three days and finished in a tie for first, only falling to Cy Thompson (Roger Williams) on a tiebreaker for first place...Was the first male national qualifier since Brad Funk finished second in 2001...Guided the co-ed team to a second consecutive trip to the ICSA Eastern Semifinal where the team then qualified for the ICSA/Gill Co-Ed National Championship...Sailed with Wilson Stout, Alan Alkins and Jaclyn Finney in the A division at the Co-Ed National Championships and finished third in the division and fourth overall...Finished third in the C Division at the Navy Fall Intersectional...Finished fifth in the A Division along with Wilson Stout and Jaclyn Finney at the America Trophy Regatta...Was part of ODU's fifth place finish at the MAISA Team Racing Championships...Finished fifth in the A Division at the America Trophy Regatta along with Michael Komar and Alissa Ayres.
2007-08: Did not participate in the fall due to training for Olympic Trials...Won U.S. Singlehanded Championship in summer of 2007...Finished in Top 15 at Olympic Trials...Major contributor in team sailing in the spring, helping ODU finish in the top five three times...Sailing in first ever ICSA National Semifinal...Sailed to 5th in A division with Alissa Ayres and Michael Komar and to 7th overall in the America Trophy...Sailed to 10th in A division with Wilson Stout and 11th overall at the Admirals Cup...
2006-07: Finished 3rd at first collegiate regatta, the Navy Laser Open, to qualify for MAISA Championship...Finished 12th at MAISA's...Finished 5th overall and in A division with Laura Speas at SAISA/MAISA event...Skippered 8th place B division boat at Co-Ed Spring Intersectional...Sailed to 4th in C division at Admiral's Cup...Finished 6th in B division and 5th overall at America Trophy...Integral skipper during team racing season...
Prep: Became the first American to win the Laser Radial Youth Worlds Championship in August 2006...Also lettered in tennis and cross country at Methacton High School.
