2017-2018: Adam Moundir and Maestre went 8-5 on the season and 1-0 at the Conference USA Tournament. The two took down Columbia’s No. 44 nationally ranked tandem, 6-1 earning All-Conference USA Doubles Second Team ... Finished the year 9-6 in doubles

Prep: Javier Jover Maestre starts his freshman season at Old Dominion after being homeschooled from Madrid, Spain… Maestre achieved an International Tennis Federation ranking of 308… Was the semifinalist in the 2013 ITF Mexico Junior Cup Jalisco for singles and the champion for the doubles match… Was a finalist in the 2013 ITF Junior Benicarlo doubles match… Maestre defeated some top ranked competition prior to coming to Old Dominion. He took down Guillermo Nunez (10 ITF), 
Joao Barra (159 ITF)
, Jose A. Salazar (128 ITF), and 
Ferran Calvo (99 ITF)…

Personal: Andres Jover Blasco and Amparo Maestre Requena are the proud parents of Javier… He has an older brother Andres Jover Maestre… Javier plans to major in marketing and would like to become a professional tennis player… Should professional tennis not work out Javier would like to work with a marketing company… Prior to getting into tennis Javier played soccer as the goalkeeper…
