2019 (SR): Named an NFHCA Third Team All-American … Named a Synapse Sports Third Team All-American … A unanimous First Team All-BIG EAST and First Team All-South Region selection ... Named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament team ... Started all 18 games at center back and led the team in goals and points, with nine and 25, respectively ... Tied for first on the team with three game-winning goals and added seven assists, which ranked third on the Monarchs ... Led the Monarch defense to five shutout victories ... Named an alternate in the Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Senior Game ... Was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on September 16, and was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll five times ... Was named one of two team captains prior to the start of the season.

2018 (JR): A First Team All-Big East, First Team All-State and Second Team All-South Region selection ... Started all 17 games at center back and led the team in goals (10) and points (23) ... Also added three assists ... Scored three game-winning goals, including the winner in the upset over No. 8 Virginia ... The lone Monarch to earn two weekly honors, being named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17 and the Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 22 ... Had her best game of the season with a hat trick against Providence ... Also scored two goals against Temple ... Defensively, helped ODU post five shutouts.

2017 (SO): Started all 18 games at back ... Recorded three goals and three assists for nine points ... Tied for sixth on the team with nine points ... Scored the game-winning goal in the win over Temple ... Notched a goal and an assist on two different occasions, in wins over Georgetown and Villanova. 

2016 (FR): Played in all 17 games as a freshman... Scored a goal in her first career home game against eventual NCAA Champion Delaware (9/2)... Had eight shots and three shots on goal on the season.

PRIOR TO ODU: Birch, an incoming freshman from Leeds, United Kingdom, led The Grammar School at Leeds to two fourth-place finishes at the national championships and an unbeaten regular season in 2015-16. While participating with the York club team, her squad clinched first place at nationals and appeared in the indoor national finals twice. Birch served as captain of her field hockey team while also participating in swimming, softball and tennis.

PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education.
