Stephanie Kratzer Season 2009

 

2011 (Senior): CAA Defensive Player of the Year...CAA All-Tournament Team selection...Selected to the NFHCA Senior Game... NFHCA Division I All-South Region Second Team selection... First Team All-State selection... Started all 25 games and tallied eight goals to go with nine assists on 53 shots with 25 points... Tied for third in goals and shots on the team... Scored a career-high two goals to go with two assists in a 4-0 win at Towson (10/7)... Racked up a career-high three assists in ODU's 5-2 win at No. 3 Maryland (10/14) and against James Madison (10/21)...Tallied her first goal of the season in ODU's 4-0 win over No. 1 Maryland (Sept. 2)... scored a goal vs. No. 2 UNC (10/30).

2010 (Senior): Took a medical redshirt due to injury.

2009 (Junior): Played in 19 games with 13 starts for ODU...Scored her first career goal against Villanova and posted her first career assist at Towson...Selected to the 2009 South High Performance Training Squad and Women's National Championship Team.

2008 (Sophomore): Played in all 23 games, earning starts in 20 during her sophomore season...Ranked in the Top 10 in the Colonial Athletic Association with two defensive saves...Posted a defensive save in a 2-1 Old Dominion victory over Boston University (9/27)...Registered her second defensive save of the season in a hard-fought 2-1 loss against Duke (10/19)...Member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 17 games making 11 starts in her first season at Old Dominion...Made her first collegiate start against eventual national champion North Carolina (9/14)...Member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Prior to Old Dominion:A two-sport athlete at Warwick High School...A three-year member of the field hockey team...Named First Team All-League...Member of the Lancaster Lebanon Dream Team...Served as tri-captain...Also played four seasons of soccer...Scored the team's first goal during her sophomore and junior seasons...An All-American Academic Team selection...A four-time NCAA Adidas Team Academic Award winner...Member of the distinguished honor roll throughout her high school career...Member of the National Honor Society.
