Played in all 20 games for the Monarchs starting 19. Had a career high 42 points and 18 goals which led the BIG EAST. She tied her career high in assists with six.  Was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week four times over the season. 

2022 (JR): BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year ... 1st team all BIG EAST ... Started in all 18 games for the Monarchs ... Led the team in points (34) and goals (14) ... recorded six assists on the year ... named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week three times ... second team NFHCA All South Region team 

2021 (SO):  Started in 13 games for the Monarchs … Ranked first on the team in points (28), and goals (7)  ...  Named Second Team Synapse Sports All-American, Third Team NFHCA All-American and NFHCA All-South Region…de Bruijne had 12 goals (ranked third in BIG EAST), four assists, 28 points (tied for third in BIG EAST) and four game-winners (second in BIG EAST)…She led the Monarchs in goals, points and game-winners this season, as well as shots (68) and shots on goal (37). In ODU's win over Quinnipiac, de Bruijne scored three goals. She was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week once this year and earned First Team All-Big East honors.
 
2020-21 (FR): NFHCA Second Team All-American … Leading freshman goal scorer in Division I … Also topped all DI freshman in total points … BIG EAST Co-Freshman of the Year … First Team All-BIG EAST … Selected to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team … Tabbed VaSID Co-Freshman of the Year and First Team All-State … Recognized as First Team All-South Region by NFHCA … Led the Monarchs in goals (15) and points (32) … Tied for fifth nationally in goals and eighth nationally in points … Was second in the BIG EAST in goals per game … Scored the game-winning goal four times, second-most in the conference … Led the conference in total shots (81) … Tallied multiple goals in five games, including a pair of hat tricks … Had four or more points in five games … Started in all 14 matches for the Monarchs and served as the team’s primary striker on penalty corners … Found the back of the cage twice in regulation in a 3-2 stroke-off win against Temple … Also converted twice in the stroke-off, including the eventual winning marker … Named the Play Safe/NFHCA Division I Offensive Player of the Week on March 3 after scoring seven goals across two games with Villanova … Scored three times in the first game against the Wildcats, becoming the first Monarch freshman with a hat trick since at least the 2010 season … Followed up with four goals the next day to match the Division I single-game high … BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on March 1 … Added a goal on the road against Liberty to run her goal-scoring streak to three matches … Notched a pair of goals in a home match with Liberty on March 27 … Tallied assists in consecutive matches against Providence on April 16 and 17 … Scored both of ODU’s goals in a 2-1 win over No. 6 Liberty in the BIG EAST semifinals … BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Feb. 22 and April 19.

PRIOR TO ODU: Three-year player for HC Tilburg … Played priorly for HC Den Bosch … Led HC Tilburg in scoring while winning a regional pool championship in 2019 … Finished fourth in the 2019 indoor championships. 
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Maarten de Bruijne and Ilse de Bruijne … Has one sister, Irvy … Father was a member of the Dutch national team for tennis … Chose ODU for the warm receptions from the coaches and players ... Majoring in leadership.
