HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - Old Dominion will be looking to snap Hofstra's three-game home court winning streak Sunday as the Lady Monarchs travel to Hempstead, N.Y. to take on the Pride at 1 p.m.

The game can be heard live on STAR 1310 AM with Tony Mercurio calling the action and Susan Montgomery providing color analysis. It can also be seen on a tape-delayed broadcast locally in the New Jersey and Long Island areas on Verizon Fios1 Sports.

Old Dominion (17-8, 11-3 CAA) will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak away from Norfolk, while Hofstra (15-10, 7-7 CAA) will be seeking its fourth consecutive home win.

The Lady Monarchs, which fell at VCU Thursday, are currently tied with UNC Wilmington for second-place in the Colonial Athletic Association standings. ODU owns the tiebreaker over the Seahawks should the teams end the year with the same record, due to a 68-60 win against them last Sunday.

Sunday's game features two of the Top 5 scoring offenses in the CAA with Hofstra ranked first (73.9) and ODU coming in fifth (64.1) in points per game.

The Pride are led by Shante Evans, who is third in the CAA in scoring (17.8 ppg) and second in the league in rebounding (10.8 rpg). Candice Bellocchio's 5.4 assists per game and 1.5 assist/turnover ratio are both conference highs.

Hofstra has won two of its last three games, including an impressive 80-61 road win against Northeastern Thursday. Evans led four Pride players in double-figures with 21 points to go along with six rebounds.

Hofstra, which has scored 70 or more points in 16 of its 25 games, is 5-1 in CAA games played at the Mack Sports Complex.

Old Dominion has dominated the all-time series since Hofstra joined the CAA in 2001, winning 17 of the 19 meetings. The Lady Monarchs have won 12 of the last 13 in the series, but the Pride were victorious the last time the squads played in Hempstead two years ago.
