RICHMOND, Va. - The pairings are set for the 2007 CAA Field Hockey Championship, which will be held at the U.S. National Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., after the final weekend of regular season action that determined the final three spots in the field.
The quarterfinals begin on Thursday evening as #4 Northeastern (8-11, 4-4 in CAA) will face #5 Towson (8-10, 3-5) at 6 p.m., followed by #3 Drexel (11-8, 5-3) against #6 Hofstra (7-10, 3-5) at 8:30 p.m.
In semifinal action on Saturday, top-seeded Old Dominion (11-8, 8-0) will take on the winner of the Northeastern/Towson contest at 12 p.m. and #2 James Madison (16-3, 7-1) will battle the winner of the Drexel/Hofstra match at 2:30 p.m.
The championship game is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
