The Lady Monarch field hockey team has made it to the NCAA Final Four for the 16th time in school history and now Old Dominion takes another step towards a national championship when it faces Maryland on Friday night at 5:00 p.m. at Trager Stadium on the campus of the University of Louisville. The day's other semifinal match-up features Duke and Wake Forest with the winners of each game heading to the championship finale on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. The Lady Monarchs and Terps split during the regular season with Maryland getting past ODU, 2-1, in overtime in Norfolk, but the Lady Monarchs avenged their loss with a 4-1 victory in College Park.
