The Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA) men's soccer game between Old Dominion (5-4-0/2-0-0) and James Madison originally scheduled for Sunday, October 13th has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m in Norfolk, VA.
The teams had to postpone the first meeting when torrential rains cancelled ODU's game against George Mason that was supposed to be played Friday, October 11. The Monarchs and Patriots had to play the next day on Saturday and cancel their Sunday matchups. ODU defeated George Mason 2-1 in double overtime as Attila Vendegh (Bratislava, Slovakia) scored a record breaking golden goal with just three minutes remaining. He became Old Dominion's all-time goal leader with that tally, the 37th of his career.
This contest will be the last regular season home game for the Monarchs. This weekend ODU travels to Delaware on Friday and Towson on Sunday for two CAA games.
