Possibly the most prolific scorer in ODU soccer history, Attila Vendegh was a two-time third team All-American by the NSCAA and College Soccer News. He was also a two-time CAA Player of the Year in 2001 and 2003, and four-time first team All-CAA selection. Vendegh completed his career as ODU''s all-time leading scorer with 56 goals, 22 assists and for 134 career points. He to also took care of businessoff the field, earning the 2003 CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year award and was a 2002 CoSIDA Academic All-American selection.
The 2003 team was 15-4-1 and reached the second round of the NCAA College Cup. The 2000 CAA Rookie of the Year graduated with a degree in international business and currently lives in his native country of Slovakia where he is a marketing director with Scania Central Europe, a Swedish truck manufacturer.
