Ange knocked in Jamie Hemmingway in the second, then singled home JamieHemmingway and Daniel Marsh to give the Seahawks a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning.Inthe UNCW three-run sixth, he singled home David McPherson to complete his three-for-four day. Daniel Marsh had four hits for UNCW in five at bats.
The Monarchs were led by Tim Hummel (Montgomery, NY.) who hit a two-runhomer in the first inning. Senior leftfielder Jason Greiner (Wexford, Pa.) cameup withtwo hits and three runs batted in. He hit solo shot in the fourth, then broughttheMonarchs to within one run in the bottom of the ninth with a single, scoringJohn Oehler(Audubon, NJ.) And Joe Troilo (Avondale, Pa.).
UNCW pitcher Anthony Kozol picked up his seventh win of the season, fanningseven and walking only one, but reliever Brad Overton came in, in the ninthafter Tim Hummelsingled up the middle to put runners on first and third with two outs. Overtonthengot Jared Musolf to ground out to end the game.
