NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Swimmer Zachary Redding was named ASUN Swimmer of the Week for the first weekend of the season, the league announced.
Redding won a trio of events for the Monarchs against George Mason last Saturday, including the 50 freestyle in a time of 20.21, the 100 freestyle in a time of 44.66, and the 100 butterfly in a time of 47.77.
A native of Middletown, Delaware, it is the seventh time in Redding’s career he has earned swimmer of the week.
Redding and the Monarchs travel to Gardner-Webb for a two-day meeting beginning Friday, Oct. 9.
