NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women's tennis was named an ITA All-Academic Team for 2026, while Lidiia Rasskouskaia, Marina Markina, Kira Matushkina, Vlada Manzhos, Mya Byrd, and Victoria Matasova were individually recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced on Monday.

“We take great pride in the academic success of our Women’s Tennis student athletes at ODU,” said head coach Dominic Manilla. “We could not do it without the guidance of, Amy Lynch, our academic coordinator. Her unwavering support of our athletes is unmatched. With her talent I feel strongly that we are posed for continued academic achievement for seasons to come. Congratulations to Amy and all of our players on the recognition of their hard work,” added Manilla. 

Rasskouskaia graduated this fall with a degree in leadership and a 3.8 GPA. She finished the season 17-13 in singles and 20-11 in doubles.

Matushkina was recognized while majoring in supply chain management with a 3.8 GPA. She posted a 12-14 singles record and a 14-13 doubles mark while earning First Team All-Sun Belt honors.

Matasova earned the recognition as a finance major with a 4.0 GPA. She was named the Sun Belt Conference Elite Player of the Year and finished the season 13-19 in singles and 13-15 in doubles.

Markina, a finance major, earned the honor with a 3.93 GPA. She posted a 20-7 singles record and a 14-17 doubles mark.

Byrd received the recognition while majoring in sport management with a 3.8 GPA. She finished the season 7-11 in singles and 4-7 in doubles.

Manzhos was selected with a 3.91 GPA and her major is undecided. She went 8-9 in singles and 10-9 in doubles.

The Monarchs earned a 3.69 cumulative GPA, the highest among Old Dominion's women's programs, while finishing the season with a 13-6 record and capturing their sixth straight conference championship.
