NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball head coach Mike Jones has added seven transfers to round out the Monarchs’ 2026-27 roster. The second newcomer in the group is Kylan Howze, a 6-foot 10-inch forward who is transferring in from Louisiana Tech.
“Kylan comes to us with a knack for winning as he has played on teams that win in high school, JUCO and the Division I levels,” said Jones. “He will provide a presence for us in the paint on both ends of the floor. His ability to defend and block shots, as well as be disruptive with his length, will be welcome attributes to our defensive identity. Kylan comes to us as a forward/post and we could not be more excited - he will help us win!”
