NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s golf team has its final event of the regular season this week as the Monarchs head to Greenville, North Carolina to play in the Ironwood Invitational. East Carolina is hosting the three-day tournament at Ironwood Golf & Country Club, which features a par-72 course that is 6,471 total yards.

Play begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start for Sunday’s opening round. The field will then play another 18 holes with a 10 a.m. shotgun start on Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday with another 9 a.m. shotgun start. Live stats will also be available on Scoreboard by Clippd.

A total of 15 teams will be competing in the Ironwood Invitational. In addition to the Monarchs and host Pirates will be lineups from App State, Boston University, Campbell, the College of Charleston, Columbia, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, Jacksonville, Memphis, Towson, Wofford, and Xavier.

The lineup for Old Dominion will include Barbara Car, Puneet Bajwa, Alina Shchepteva, Mariana Arronte, and Ludovica Girola. The Monarchs will be playing in foursomes alongside App State, Columbia, and Georgia State on Sunday.

ODU last competed in the Ironwood Invitational on April 1-2, 2024, finishing seventh out of 15 teams with a combined 47-over par 911. Alumni Carley Rudolf led the Monarchs and tied for 13th place with a nine-over 225.

The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championship will be held April 20-23 at Lakewood Golf Club in Point Clear, Alabama.
