NORFOLK, Va. – #60 Old Dominion women’s tennis faces rival James Madison for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Quarterfinal. The match counts towards the TowneBank Royal Rivalry.

The match begins at 10 a.m. in Rome, Georgia on Friday, April 24. Live stats and streaming will be available for fans.

ODU is 10-5 after winning its last regular season match against Richmond, 4-3. The Monarchs faced JMU earlier in the month, winning 4-1 in Norfolk. Kira Matushkina leads the way in singles competition for Old Dominion, placing No. 103 in the ITA rankings and has a record of 6-7. Doubles pair Lidiia Rasskouskaia and Ulyana Romanova is 11-5 on the season from court three.

James Madison enters the quarterfinals following a 4-0 victory over Coastal Carolina on Thursday. The Dukes are 12-10 on the season, with Ariel Avidan leading the team in singles play with a 10-7 record as well as a 12-6 doubles record with Daria Munteanu.
