NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Lacrosse heads to Greenville, North Carolina, to take on the ECU Pirates on Saturday at Johnson Stadium for an American Conference match up. The opening draw is scheduled for noon.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS

ODU is coming off a 17-7 loss to Temple on Saturday, despite a hat trick from Julia Butler. Kylie O’Donnell added two goals, while Annalynn Pompetti and Ella Bowen each scored once. 

Goalkeeper Brynn Bowen recorded eight saves in the loss and now has 123 saves on the season, surpassing her total of 122 from last year. Bowen ranks seventh in the country, and first in the conference in saves per game. 

Natalie Calandra-Ryan leads the team with 29 points on 21 goals and eight assists. She is followed by Lydia Laney, who has 22 points on seven goals and 15 assists, ranking ninth in the conference in assists. Molly Heimerl has totaled 20 points on nine goals and 11 assists.

ABOUT THE PIRATES

ECU is coming off a 16-9 win over William & Mary on Wednesday, led by Rachel Chessock’s five-goal performance. Sarah Goodison, Jamie Collender, and Maya Koebke each recorded a hat trick, while Katelyn Sclafani and Kayla Wilkes added one goal apiece. In goal, Maeve Meehan registered seven saves, and Jaime Behar made four.

Goodison leads the team with 36 points on 24 goals and 12 assists. She ranks ninth in the conference in both goals per game and points per game, and eighth in shots per game. Koebke follows with 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists, while Wilkes has 29 points on 21 goals and eight assists. Sclafani has 28 points on 16 goals and 12 assists.
