NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion lacrosse hosts Furman Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS

ODU is coming off two wins this past week, 12-8 against Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, and 10-8 against Rider on Saturday. Goalkeeper Brynn Bowen notched a career high 15 saves in the win against Rider. 

Lydia Laney leads the team with 16 points on three goals and 13 assists. Natalie Calandra-Ryan follows with 15 points on 13 goals and two assists. Molly Heimerl trails with 15 points, seven goals, and seven assists. 

ABOUT THE PALADINS

Furman is coming off two losses this week to Campbell and St. Bonaventure. Shae Insinga scored five goals in the 11-9 loss to the Camels on Monday, then scored a hat trick in the 15-5 loss to the Bonnies on Wednesday. Paladin goalkeeper Madigan Brewer registered 15 saves for the week, while Sam Melvile recorded 11 saves. 

Insinga leads the team with 18 goals. She is followed by Toole with 11 points with eight goals and three assists, she is tied with Reynolds Hester who also has 11 points with three goals and eight assists.
