NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Lacrosse hosts South Florida on Saturday, March 28, for an American Conference matchup at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. The opening draw is scheduled for noon.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS

ODU is coming off a 13-10 loss to Coastal on Wednesday. Jules Mills recorded a hat trick, while Ashley Greene and Kayleigh Flanegan each registered two goals in the loss. Natalie Calandra-Ryan, Sylvia Mayo, and Annalynn Pompetti added one goal apiece.

ODU goalkeeper Brynn Bowen made eight saves in the loss and now has 110 saves on the season, which ranks fourth in the country.

Natalie Calandra-Ryan leads the team with 27 points on 20 goals and seven assists. She is followed by Lydia Laney, who has 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists, ranking sixth in the conference in assists. She is tied with Molly Heimerl, who has 20 points on nine goals and 11 assists.

ODU ranks 12th in the nation in clearing percentage (92.6%) and 18th in save percentage (46.8%). Bowen ranks 28th in the country in save percentage (46.6%).

ABOUT THE BULLS

USF is coming off a 9-7 win over JMU on Saturday and currently leads the conference. Elise Grissett recorded four goals, while Ava Uphues added two. Sofia Chepenik, Kaitlin Tartaglione, and Julia Huxtable each scored once in the win.

Goalkeeper Natalie Eastwood recorded eight saves in the win.

Grissett leads the team with 26 points on 20 goals and six assists, ranking sixth in points per game. She is followed by Chepenik, who has 25 points on 19 goals and six assists and ranks sixth in the conference in goals per game and second in shots per game. Maggie Newton follows with 24 points on four goals, and 20 assists, and leads the conference in assists per game. Uphues is close behind with 23 points on 23 goals, ranking second in the conference in goals per game and seventh in shots per game.
