NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf is headed back to the Tar Heel State this weekend to play in the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate.
East Carolina, Elon, and Gardner-Webb are hosting the three-day tournament at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina, which has a par-72 course that is 7,327 total yards. Fans will be able to follow along with live stats through Scoreboard by Clippd.
Play begins this Friday, and all three rounds will have split-tee starts beginning at 8 a.m. In addition to the three host schools and ODU, the 14-team field will also include Campbell, Charleston Southern, Fairleigh Dickinson, Francis Marion, Harvard, Presbyterian, Providence, Radford, Sandhills Community College, and Temple. Campbell is the defending tournament champion, winning the 2025 Cutter Creek Intercollegiate with a 22-under par 842.
The Monarchs will tee off from the 10th hole for the opening round of the Intercollegiate and will be paired with Charleston Southern and Radford. ODU’s lineup will consist of Quin Covington, Kaijun Ma, Cullen Campbell, Jakub Sutor, Joe MacPherson, and Heath Stout.
The Monarchs finished in fifth place at last year’s Cutter Creek Intercollegiate, with the team combining for a seven-over par 871. It marked the team’s third-straight Top-5 finish at Cutter Creek after placing third in both 2023 and 2024. Alumni Jacob Gunther led ODU with a one-under 215 to tie for seventh, Ma followed him with an even 216 to tie for 13th, and Sutor posted a three-over 219 to tie for 23rd.
