NORFOLK, Va. — Old Dominion Lacrosse travels to Conway, South Carolina, to take on Coastal Carolina on Wednesday at Fowler Field. The opening draw is scheduled for noon.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS

ODU is coming off a 17-2 loss to Vanderbilt on Saturday. Monarchs Katie Pfieler and Ashley Greene scored goals in the losing effort.

ODU goalkeeper Brynn Bowen made nine saves in the loss and has notched 102 saves on the season, which ranks fourth in the country.

Natalie Calandra-Ryan leads the team with 26 points on 19 goals and seven assists. She is followed by Lydia Laney, who owns 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists, which ranks her sixth in the conference for assists. She is tied with Molly Heimerl, who has 20 points on seven goals and 11 assists.

Bowen has a 6-4 record in goal while allowing 10.91 goals per game. Defensively, Calandra-Ryan leads the team with 13 caused turnovers and also leads ODU in draw controls with 48 this season.

ODU ranks 11th in the nation in clearing percentage (92.6%) and 18th in save percentage (46.8%). Bowen ranks 28th in the country in save percentage (46.6%).

ABOUT THE CHANTICLEERS 

CCU is coming off a 12-11 overtime loss to Stetson on Saturday. Chants Alexandra Horn registered five goals, while Alyson Mascolo and Sophie Kingsborough scored two each. Carleigh Paterson and Nikki Seven added one each in the loss.

Chants goalkeeper Charlotte Sadler recorded six saves on the evening.

Horn leads the team with 39 points on 21 goals and 18 assists. She is followed by Seven, who has 28 points on 14 goals and 14 assists. Kingsborough owns 21 points with 19 goals and two assists.
