NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball enters next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship as the No. 11 seed and will take on the No. 14 ULM Warhawks in the tournament’s opening round on Tuesday, March 3. Tipoff at the Pensacola Bay Center is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.

The Monarchs (11-20, 7-11 Sun Belt) hosted the Warhawks (4-27, 1-17) on Feb. 4, a game that went to the visitors, 85-79. Jordan Battle led ODU in the loss with 23 points while making 6-of-14 shots from the perimeter. Also finishing in double figures were KC Shaw (16 points), Zacch Wiggins (13 points), and LJ Thomas (12 points). The game marked just the third-ever meeting between the two programs, and ULM now leads the all-time series, 2-1.

The Sun Belt Championship Final is scheduled for Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m. ET and will be streamed on either ESPN or ESPN2.
