NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women’s lacrosse team hosts the VCU Rams in their season home opener on Saturday February 21 at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex scheduled for a 6 p.m. start. 

The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will be available.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS:

Old Dominion is coming off an 11-6 loss at Elon on Saturday in the second road game of the season. Natalie Calandra-Ryan contributed two goals in the losing effort, as well as Lydia Laney, Julia Butler, Kylie O’Donnell, and Maria Snyder each supplied one each. 

Laney leads the team with seven points with two goals and five assists, followed by Calandra-Ryan who has six goals. Goalkeeper Brynn Bowen has 14 saves on the season. 

ABOUT THE RAMS:

The Rams are coming off a 11-4 loss to Virginia Tech on Wednesday. Rachel Koeneke scored a goal in the losing effort, as well as Kenson Epperly, Kiley Kozak, and Sam Palmer. 

Koeneke leads the team with 10 points from seven goals and three assists. She is followed by Palmer with nine points and eight goals and one assist.
