NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football hosts Georgia State on Saturday, Nov. 29 in the regular season finale at 2 p.m. in the 75th Oyster Bowl. ODU will honor its seniors in a pregame ceremony beginning at 1:35 p.m.

The game is on ESPN+ and the radio broadcast will be on the ODU Sports Network.

• ODU won at Georgia Southern last week 45-10. It was the largest home loss in program history for the Eagles.

• Georgia State lost to Troy 31-19 last week. Quarterback Christian Veilleux threw for 307 yards and a touchdown while wide receiver Javon Robinson caught seven passes for 146 yards and a touchdown.

• ODU quarterback Colton Joseph completed 12-of-18 passes for 140 yards and carried 20 times for a career high 189 yards. He passed and ran for a touchdown.

• Running back KeTravion “Bull” Hargrove had 10 carries for 40 yards but three touchdowns in the win at Georgia Southern. He came into the game with one rushing TD on the year. Hargrove is the third player this year to have three rushing touchdowns in one game, joining Colton Joseph against ULM, and Trequan Jones against NC Central.

• ODU rushed for a season high 376 yards against the Eagles. It was the third time this season ODU rushed for more than 300 yards. ODU rushed for 302 yards against Coastal and 351 against Troy.

• Linebacker Jahleel Culbreath had four tackles and two tackles for loss.

Running For Days
Old Dominion rushed for a season high and second most yards in school history, 376 yards in the 45-10 win over Georgia Southern. The 57 carries were a season high and third most in a game in program history.

Quarterback Colton Joseph rushed for a career high 189 yards, Trequan Jones 73 and Ke’Travion “Bull” Hargrove three touchdowns in the win.

It was the third time this season ODU rushed for more than 300 yards.

The school record of 406 yards was set in last year’s season finale at Arkansas State.

Season Long Success
ODU ranks second in the Sun Belt and seventh in the country with 2,540 rushing yards. It is the second most in a season in school history and only 20 yards short of the record set in 2016.

Quarterback Colton Joseph completed 12-of-18 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown and also added a career high 189 rushing yards on 20 carries and a touchdown in the win at Georgia southern.

Joseph leads the Sun Belt Conference in total offense and is second in the league in passing efficiency. He also ranks fourth in the league in rush yards per game.

Joseph ranks second in the country in yards per completion at 15.38, tied for fourth in total touchdowns, sixth in rush yards per game by a QB and seventh in total offense.

Domination on Both Sides of the Ball
ODU outgained Georgia Southern 551-249, making the yardage margin total 302. ODU has outgained opponents by 300 or more yards four times this season, including three times against Sun Belt teams. They are one of four teams to do so four times this season. Of the four teams, ODU and Oregon have had the 300 yard margin in three conference games. Ohio State has done it twince in conference games and all four of Missouri’s were non-conference games.

ODU set a school record with nine sacks in the win over Troy. the Monarchs secured two more sacks in the win at Georgia Southern. Jeremy Mack leads ODU with four sacks. 

ODU leads the Sun Belt and is fifth in the country in sacks.

Leading Tackler, Interception Leader
Sophomore safety Jerome Carter had three tackles and his team leading fourth interception in the win at Georgia Southern.

Carter leads the Monarchs with 69 tackles and four interceptions.
