NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion quarterback Colton Joseph was named one of eight Manning Award Stars of the Week, the organization announced on Monday. It is the second time this season Joseph has earned the honor.
Joseph completed 17-of-30 passes for 315 yards and a career high tying four touchdowns in ODU’s 47-7 victory over Coastal Carolina. He also had 66 yards rushing on seven carries, including a 50-yard touchdown run.
For the season, Joseph has completed 81-of-124 passes for 1,215 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s fifth in the country among quarterbacks averaging 86.6 rush yards per game and is fifth in the country averaging 15 yards per completion.
