NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion field hockey travels to Storrs, Connecticut to face the UConn Huskies Friday, then travels to Durham, North Carolina to face #8 Duke on Sunday.
The Monarchs are coming off back-to-back wins in overtime, with a 3-2 double overtime win against Temple, and a 2-1 win in overtime against Delaware.
ABOUT THE MONARCHS:
Sian Emslie leads the Monarchs in points with 19 and has seven goals and five assists. She is followed by Serena Langendoen who scored the two winning overtime goals this weekend. She owns 15 points with seven goals and one assist.
Goalkeeper Suus Broers has made 44 saves on the season.
The Monarchs are tied with UConn for second place in the conference, both with 4-1 records.
ABOUT THE HUSKIES:
Julia Bressler leads the Huskies with 12 points with six goals. She is followed by Sol Simone who has 10 points on two goals and six assists.
Goalkeeper Natalie Mckenna has recorded 68 saves on the season.
ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS:
Alania Mcveigh leads the Blue Devils with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists. She is followed by Julia Boehringer who has 18 points on seven goals and four assists.
In goal, Kaiya Chepow leads the goalkeeping points with 30 saves.
