NORFOLK, Va. - ODU field hockey hosts BIG EAST Conference opponent Temple on Friday, October 17th at noon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex, then travel to Delaware Sunday, October 24th at noon at the Fred P. Rullo Stadium.
The games will have broadcast and live stats will be available.
ABOUT THE MONARCHS:
Old Dominion is coming off a 4-1 conference win against Villanova on Friday, tying with UConn for third spot in the conference standings. Avery Jackson and Nicolette Saccomandi each scored a goal, along with Sian Emslie recording two against the Wildcats.
Emslie leads the team in points with 19 for seven goals, five assists, and 24 shots. She is followed by Sanci Molkenboer with 12 points for four goals, four assists, and 35 shots.
ABOUT THE OWLS:
Temple is coming off a 6-0 shutout against Lock Haven on Sunday. Isabella Pisano, Peyton Rieger, Mathea Lassalle, and Kathryn Gauvin each scored a goal, along with Rozlyn Maciejewski recorded two against the Bald Eagles.
Peyton Rieger leads the team with 20 points for seven goals, six assists, and 20 shots. She is followed by Mathèa Lassalle who records 13 points for six goals, one assist, and 33 shots.
The Owls are tied for fourth in conference standings along with Villanova.
ABOUT THE BLUE HENS:
Delaware is coming off a 4-1 loss against Wake Forest. Sarah Rigual recorded their lone goal against the Demon Deacons. Iris Bekker leads the team in points with 15 for six goals, three assists and 35 shots. She is followed by Kate Fiest with 14 points, four goals, six assists and 12 shots.
Blue Hen keeper Kristi Merashoff records 45 saves on the season while Gabby Prentice records six on the season.
