NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Football heads to Harrisonburg, Virginia for the Townebank Royal Rivalry to take On James Madison, Saturday, October 18 at 3:30 p.m.

The game will be on ESPNU and the radio broadcast on the ODU Sports Network.

• ODU is coming off a 48-24 setback at Marshall, while the Dukes defeated Louisiana 24-14 in Harrisonburg.

Colton Joseph completed 15-of-28 passes for 266 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions at Marshall. He also rushed for 50 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.

Na’eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding had three receptions for 71 yards. Tre Brown had a 71-yard touchdown reception, his longest career reception.

• Running back Maurki James had a career best 83 yards and a touchdown at Marshall.

• Linebacker Seth Naotala recorded a career best 12 tackles and a half a tackle for loss.

Leading Sun Belt Offense
Despite its lowest total offense output since the opener at Indiana, Old Dominion leads the Sun Belt in total offense at 488.5 yards per game. The Monarchs are 12th in the country in total offense.

Running Free
For the first time in 2025, ODU was held under 200 rushing yards in the loss at Marshall. ODU had 173 yards rushing against the Herd. The Monarchs are second in the Sun Belt and tied for 11th in the country with 238 rush yards per game.

Defense Comes Through
Despite giving up 48 points 445 yards to Marshall, ODU is second in the Sun Belt to James Madison in total defense and scoring defense. ODU’s defense has held opposing offenses to less than 240 yards in three games this season, including 210 to Liberty and 189 to Coastal. The two lowest totals allowed to FBS teams in program history.
