NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion men’s soccer hosts Regent on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the ODU Soccer Complex. The Monarchs play the Royals for the first time in program history.

The game will have live stats available for all fans who wish to follow along with the action.

ABOUT ODU:

The Monarchs are coming off a 1-1 draw against South Carolina in Columbia and a 2-1 Sun Belt Conference win against Coastal Carolina. ODU currently sits in eighth place in the SBC.

Lewis Rourke scored his fourth goal last time out to tie Jake Lane for the team lead. Rourke, Lane, and Alex Kryazhev each have 10 points this season. Kryazhev has been the main provider with six assists, which is good for tied 11th in the nation and tied for second in the conference. 12 of ODU’s players have registered at least one goal involvement this season. The three are all tied for 10th in points in the SBC. Lane and Rourke’s four goals are tied for eighth in the conference.

Senior goalkeeper Michael Statham has been in net for all 11 of the Monarchs matches. His 35 saves are good for second in the conference and his three clean sheets are good for fifth in the SBC.

ABOUT REGENT:

The Royals are on a four-game losing streak heading into the matchup against the Monarchs. Their three wins came against Gallaudet University (4-1), Mid-Atlantic Christian (5-0), and Mary Baldwin University (4-1). Regent hired head coach Jared Welsh in July 2025 for their inaugural season in NCAA Division III.

Yann-Olivier Kamga leads the Royals with six goals and 14 points in nine games played. Graylan Gill and Isaiah Morris are both knotted at eight points from three goals and two assists. Morris and Landen Staples have played in every single game so far.

Connor Henriques has been the main man in net for Regent with 10 starts in 10 games played, he has conceded 43 goals and made 73 saves. Trevor Grosch has made one start and has two appearances, he has made six saves and conceded three goals.
