NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's golf is headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play in its first tournament of the fall, the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate.
Hosted by Coastal Carolina at the Grande Dunes Resort Club, the three-day tournament will begin on Sunday with tee times scheduled for 8 a.m. off the first hole and 8:10 a.m. off the 10th for all three rounds. Grande Dunes has a par of 72 and is 7,578 total yards. Live stats will be available on GolfStat.
A total of 16 teams will play in the Intercollegiate. In addition to the Monarchs and host Chanticleers, the field will include lineups from App State, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Clemson, East Carolina, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, High Point, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Maryland, Texas State and VCU.
ODU’s lineup will consist of returners Kaijun Ma, Garret Cameron, Cullen Campbell and Jakub Sutor as well as freshman Heath Stout.
The Monarchs are coming off a 2024-25 season that saw them post five Top 10 finishes, to include placing second at both the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Oct. 20-22, 2024 and the Irish Creek Collegiate on April 7-8, 2025. ODU ended up fifth at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate (March 28-30, 2025) and was eighth at the Elon Phoenix Invitational (Oct. 14-15, 2024).
