NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Athletics will induct five new numbers into the Old Dominion Sports Hall of Fame, ODU announced on Thursday. Nick Mayers (Football), Dana Sensenig (Field Hockey), Chris Haywood (Men’s Soccer), Jim Ambrose (Baseball) and Andy Zucker (Strength Coach) will be the 2025 ODU Sports Hall of Fame class and inducted during a dinner on Friday, Sept. 26 in Chartway Arena.

NICK MAYERS – FOOTBALL, WR, Virginia Beach, Va., 2009-12
First Team All-CAA in 2012 & 2011
2012 - All-American: College Sports (2nd team)
2012 -  Phil Steele  All-American (4th)
2012  -  BSN (HM All-American) 
Ranked 7th nationally in FCS with 1,233 yards in 2012.
Tied for 2nd in FCS with 16 touchdowns in 2012.
Holds ODU single-season records with 79 catches for 1,233 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2012.
Third in ODU history with 190 receptions, third in receiving yards with 2,688 and tied for second in touchdowns with 30.
(12) 100 yard career receiving games.

Established a winning environment by installing a strong code of ethics based on Excellence
Program played an integral part in ODU’s success in:
45 conference championships, six all-sport division I titles; 6 sailing National titles;
five field hockey national championships; 1995 national clay court women’s tennis champion;
1997 women’s basketball NCAA runners-up; 2006 Men’s Basketball NIT semi-finals; perennial top 20
men’s soccer top 20 teams; approximately 40 Division 1 All-Americans.
Train athletes representing their national teams in international competitions
Currently – Leisure service and Fitness manager at Felsted School in England since 2014
2010-13 – Ran the Zucker fitness Academy in France
