LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - The Old Dominion University Coed Sailing Team will be competing this week at the 2025 College Sailing Open National Championships hosted by St. Mary’s College in Lexington Park, Maryland.
The event begins on Tuesday, May 27 with the first start at 9:30 a.m. The format for the event consists of two stages. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 36 selected teams are seeded into two 18-team semifinal events. At the conclusion of the semifinal stage, the top nine teams from each semifinal will progress to a combined 18-team final stage. A national champion will be crowned at the end of finals on Friday.
They will compete in the Western Semifinal beginning Tuesday. Diogo Silva and Allison Volk will compete in the Division A boat, while Blake Goodwin and Cadence Goodnight will sail in the Division B boat.
